As the name would suggest the constituency covers the northern part of the London Borough of Ealing. Since 1997 Ealing North has been a Labour seat benefiting from a Labour government working closely with a Labour council. Northolt, Greenford, Perivale, north Hanwell and north west Ealing make up the constituency that Steve Pound serves. Below are election results in the area:
