Dear Steve, Re yesterday’s Guardian article by Gary Younge on the fate of a migrants’
charity (see also letters today) I am appalled that many vulnerable people’s records
may be lost, dumped or worse. On Sunday the Observer carried a three page feature
about a youngster from Afghanistan who experienced nothing but care and kindness on arrival in England, was so well taught in a Northolt school that now he is doing
brilliantly at Cambridge. What a contrast in 2 days news. Help! Pam.

I listen to you on my ipod on the way home from the pub saturday night and your the first MP that actually sounds intelliget and on the ball. You nailed the nonesene terror plot and quickly put it in context. But you are stuffed away on the booze slot because you are smart. Keep pushing for the big job!

As a resident of Ealing, I am sitting here watching you on Sky News and cannot believe your views on David Cameron when your former leader is paid as the Middle East Peace envoy and what has he been seen as doing recently – NOTHING. Two years in his role and the Middle East has fallen apart – OK he toook much longer in demolishing the UK ecomony but how dare you criticise David Caneron when your party have brought us to the brink not only here but then sanctioned your former leader to go forth and multiply damage across the world.
PLEASE, when ‘representing’ your party on TV you do not insult your consituents/citizens any further…

That this House welcomes the resolution of the `Fish Fight’ campaign to eliminate the environmentally and economically damaging practice of discarding fish before landing; is concerned that up to half of all fish trawled in the North Sea are thrown back either dead or dying; further welcomes the campaign’s support for the sustainable use of discard species by retailers, suppliers and restaurants to stimulate the creation of new markets for lesser known species; and calls on the Government to demand strong reform of the European Union Common Fisheries Policy to institute a regionalised, ecosystems-based management framework which incentivises the use of selective gear, uses real-time management, including temporary closures, and establishes ecosystem catch quotas rather than single-species landing quotas.

Steve, next time you see William Hague, could you please ask him if I can expect a tax rebate for the RAF, which we clearly no longer need, and if he is going to allow Gadaffi to murder his own people could he adopt a more conciliatory tone with him because there will no one else left at the rate things are going.

I am writing to express my strong condemnation of the current massacre being perpetrated against the Bahraini people by Bahraini, Saudi, and Emirati armed forces. As a member of your constituency, I urge you to introduce and/or support legislation in Parliament which condemns this barbaric behaviour and suspends UK aid to Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain until Saudi Arabia and the UAE withdraw their troops from Bahrain. I am pleading with you to help us untill the Bahraini government withdraws all local and foreign troops, respects its people’s rights to peacefully assemble and protest, and allows for free and fair elections in the country.

Steve, I’ve stopped smoking(11 days!), which means I may have enough puff to join
the march at RCN Headquarter in Cavendish Square, please walk with me, I haven’t been on a march for a long time and could do with your company.
The March starts on Victoria Embankment and ends in Hyde Park. Marchers will begin gathering
before 11am and the intention is that the march will commence at 12pm. It is estimated the march
will take at least one and a half hours to get to Hyde Park.
Each union has a designated assembly point at the start of the march running along the Victoria
Embankment. The RCN’s assembly point will be clearly marked with our sail flags and RCN branding.
The exact location of this point is on the map at the back of this briefing.
This area will be get very busy, very early on so we are asking any members to try to get to this
point before 11am if possible.
The RCN’s HQ in Cavendish Square will also be open from 9am‐10am for members to come along
for tea, coffee and breakfast and pick to up a t‐shirt and other materials. From 10am members and
staff will travel down in groups to the assembly point.
Is it true that Tony Blair & Gordon Browne have not received invites to the royal wedding? I’m by no means a royalist but if they havent it’s a disgrace – of course maybe they don’t want to go. They may be busy shopping or something?

Dear mr pound we met several years ago in the greenwood pub near the cod father chip shop you opened the pub has closed down since we talked about the bus lanes in northolt where the clock is on the village green where a young man was stabbed to death recently the tributes are a sad sight the traffic is at a stand still when the bus lanes are in operation causing mayhem can we scrap them so our children don’t have to breathe in deadly exhaust fumes
